Today we hear some laws for what kind of people could not enter into the congregation of Israel. And we hear laws of cleanliness based on God living with the Israelites. God wanted his people to be kind, fair, and thoughtful of the needs of the poor.
Today's psalm is one that our family remembers the tune to. Because of the imagery, this is a favorite psalm.Today in Acts we hear of a serious controversy and the meeting in Jerusalem to resolve it. Were followers of Jesus going to become a sect of the Jews, or was it Okay for them to be something different from Judaism?
