In Genesis 22, Abraham answers Isaac, “God will provide a sheep for the burnt offering, my son.” It is amazing to me that Moses adds the words, “To this day, people still use that name as a proverb: ‘On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.’” This turns out to be a prophecy about Christ!
In Mark, Jesus feeds the 4,000, and gives a teaching the disciples didn't understand: “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and of Herod.”
